Experience

Brenda has more than 30 years of experience in the human resources field.

In her role with Honkamp Payroll, Brenda develops, supports, sells and maintains the human capital management services, and she manages the internal human resources functions of the business.

For nearly 15 years prior to joining Honkamp Payroll, she founded and served as the president of a human resources and payroll consulting firm that served small businesses and startup companies nationwide. Prior to launching her own company, Brenda worked as a human resources generalist across companies of all types and sizes, including both single business units and multiple business units across the U.S.

Brenda’s specialties include human resources, employee handbooks, employee administration, group benefits administration, human resources compliance and payroll.

Brenda is married and has two grown children. She loves to travel with her husband, visit her children, go on long walks, do jigsaw puzzles during the winter, and read.
